This weekend was odd in the NBA as every single favorite covered on Saturday and Sunday went a perfect 14-0 ATS. The Raptors will travel south on Monday night to take on Lamelo Ball and company. The Raptors are playing some great basketball at the moment, really finding their groove. Fred VanVleet, the Raptors star guard, has been outstanding for them this year, earning his first all-star appearance. The Hornets felt they had a pair of all-star snubs, one being the human highlight real in forward, Miles Bridges, who leads the team in scoring and is the favorite for NBA's most improved player. The other one is Lamelo Ball, the young star who has been great for the Hornets on both sides of the ball, doing a little bit of everything. The Hornets started the year pretty hot but have come back to earth the last couple of months. The Hornets are currently in the midst of a four-game losing streak while the Raptors enter play winners of their last three games. 

I will be taking the home dog tonight, who is due to get hot! I love the value we are getting here on the Hornets, who I still believe are a very good team despite their recent struggles. The most interesting piece of this game will be the pace. The hornets play at one of the fastest paces in all of the NBA, while Toronto does the complete opposite. Toronto will look to get into a rock fight while Charlotte wants to turn this thing into a track meet. I believe the Hornets will be able to control the pace in this game tonight. If they can do that, they could run away with this game forcing Toronto into an uncomfortable style of playing. Toronto is a very talented team, but I think they will struggle if they are forced into that game style. The Hornets are also simply due. They have been struggling lately, and with an off day yesterday, they can reset and get a home win tonight in front of their fans. I expect a huge game from Lamelo Ball and Miles Bridges tonight as well. Let’s stay hot in the NBA and run another win back tonight!
