Wednesday's YOLO bet of the day from handicapper John Hyslop. John takes an early look at the NBA slate tonight and puts together a 3-leg parlay that can stuff your wallet.

Wednesday's YOLO Bet of the Day: Morning YOLO Thoughts

Life is all about being prepared. That's it. If you're ready for something, you have a better chance of handling it. That's just how handling stuff works. Gambling is no different. You have to mentally prepare yourself for what is about to happen. Every morning, I like to look for plus money spots that can mentally prepare myself for taking giant wads of cash from the sportsbooks. Some of these spots just turn out to be dreams, but some turn out to be giant wads of cash that I like to stuff in my pocket (we all need some walking around cash). Today's board features a couple of spots where YOLO moves can be utilized. Obviously, more will materialize throughout the day, but these are ones that definitely need a look. Like now.

3-Leg NBA Parlay (+2811)

Zach LaVine 8+ Assists (+300)

We don't really think about LaVine as an assist guy, but should we? I mean the guy is out there throwing laser beams on a nightly basis. It's only fair we consider the idea. I did some digging and I found out something interesting. Even though this guy shoots the ball all the time, he actually is dropping dimes on people. Last game alone he tossed out eight of them on 12 potentials. That was against the Phoenix Suns who allow the fourth-fewest opponent field goals to come via assist. The Bulls aren't playing them tonight. They're in a pace-up spot against the Charlotte Hornets. The same Hornets who can't defend the paint. LaVine could easily drop eight dimes tonight.

Nikola Vucevic 25+ Points (+196)

Is this that crazy? Sure Vooch had a rough night against the Suns last time out but again, the Bulls aren't playing the Suns tonight. They get the Hornets. The same Hornets that allow more points per game to the center position than any other team in the NBA (except the Trail Blazers but I'm still deciding whether to count them as an NBA team after yesterday's trade.) Vucevic already dropped 30 on these guys once this season. We only need 25 tonight. That feels doable.

Jakob Poeltl 15+ Points (+200)

I am on the fence here but is it really that crazy? First of all, he's done this seven of his last nine games. One of the times he didn't was against the Golden State Warriors so that doesn't even count. Everyone knows you don't play seven-footers against the Warriors. The other time he didn't make it was when he dropped 13 on the Thunder. That shouldn't count against him because the Spurs blew them out so Jakob didn't even play his full allotment of minutes. The haters are going to say Jarrett Allen held Jakob scoreless last time and they are right. But that was old Jakob. We're betting on new Jakob tonight. This isn't that crazy.
