I will be getting into a game between the Sacramento Kings and the Brooklyn Nets.

Brooklyn Nets vs. Sacramento Kings Prediction

The Nets come into this game as the coldest team in the NBA, losing eleven straight games. It has been a rough ride in the new year for the Nets, but they are hoping a recent move will help them out. The Nets added former all-star Ben Simmons along with role players Seth Curry and Andre Drummond in exchange for all-star James Harden. The trade has caught a ton of media attention because of all the star power involved. As a Philly fan, I will say they won the trade, but we will see how it plays out. I just hope for Brooklyn's sake they don’t need any free throws made late in a game!

The Nets, despite their cold run, are still favored to win the Eastern Conference and NBA championship. The Kings were active at the deadline as well landing all-star big man Domantas Sabonis in exchange for young star Tyrese Halliburton. The trade surprised many due to the potential of Haliburton, a former first-round pick, but the arrival of Sabonis has led the Kings to back-to-back wins. The Kings will be a short favorite tonight on the road. 

I will be backing the Kings in this game tonight. The Nets do not have Kyrie Irving for this game due to it being a home game and also still without Kevin Durant. Ben Simmons is not active yet, so this is a tough spot for the Nets tonight. Sharpshooter Joe Harris has also missed an extended period of time. Patty Mills and Cam Thomas look like they will be their top-scoring options for this game tonight.

The Kings, on the flip side, seem to be finding some momentum on the season. The bottom of the west is very weak, so the Kings look like they will have a shot to get into a play in-game. The arrival of Sabonis has been a spark for the Kings and Iike the current state they are in. I will be riding with them tonight on the short money line looking to keep things rolling! I also love Sabonis props for this game tonight, facing an undermanned and undersized Brooklyn Nets team.
