Montrezl seems happy to be home. Harrell since being traded to his hometown team has scored 20 and 15 points. He seems to really be involved in Charlotte's offense and tonight he finds himself a great matchup to keep up his recent success. Although it was in a Wizards uniform and not a Hornets one, Harrell scored 27 last time out vs Minnesota and Karl Anthony Towns.
Minnesota wasn’t just bad vs a big that night. Minnesota allows the ninth most points to Centers and historically do struggle vs Montrezl Harrell. The new Hornets big has played 12 games vs KAT before and averages 16.9 PPG in those contests. The crazy part is that four of those 12 games were 21 minutes or less and he is sure to play more than that tonight. KAT simply struggles against Montrezl and he is now getting him for matchup #13 on a hot streak. I think 14 points is definitely in play.
This game's total is an insane 244.5 which is the most I’ve personally seen this season. This game is an overs dream for prop betting although many of the lines seem adjusted. 13.5 for Harrell though, still feels too low. I don’t see Plumdog Millionaire getting too much run tonight and I could see him getting in some foul trouble. This feels like a Montrezl game and I don’t hate the idea of doing a sprinke on a YOLO play of 20+ PTS at +460.
