I hate to pick on Goga Bitadze here but I simply have to. Goga has filled in nicely for Myles Turner after he went down with injury but this number is just too high given the recent trade that went down acquiring Jalen Smith and Tristan Thompson.
Goga is no stranger to double-digit scoring nights but I feel like they might be a thing of the past with the new rotation in place. Since the two new bigs came to town we have seen Gofa much less involved in the offense in a minutes perspective and a FGA perspective.
All three bigs have played the last two games together and Goga has only seen 10 and 19 minutes in those two games. Even better news is he has only shot three and four times. Pretty tough to score double-digit points with that low volume. Now I don't envision the numbers remaining that low but it’s an encouraging sign with it being a direct result from the trades and new rotations.
Goga is likely starting again which should bode well for us. The Bucks are -12.5 favorites so I really like his chances to not get any real fourth quarter run. With a rested Giannis I like Milwaukee to take these Pacers out early. The Bucks allow the ninth fewest points to Centers and Goga is two for two on the under vs Milwaukee this year.
All signs point to this under hitting especially with his recent lack of involvement in the offense and minutes. Jalen Smith was a steal for them and he should once again see the bulk of the big man minutes and battle in the trenches with Portis.
If you’re scared he ends with 10 exactly I like the alternative line u10.5 PTS and Bucks ML as an alternative. It’s not often we play unders so you know it must be a good one if we’re willing to put it out in the middle of the day. Goga is a defensive liability and the Bucks know how to score in the paint at will. If I was a coach this is a game we see Goga play 10 minutes total again and you throw out your new toys and see how they play in their new offenses.
