ANALYSIS

NBA Player Prop Picks for Wednesday: It's a Two-For-One Wednesday

You know what's better than one bet? Two bets! It's twice as many. That's just math doing what math does. The way I see it, we have 11 games. When we have 11 games, one bet will just not cut it. It's crazy to even suggest it. On top of that, the all-star break is this week. There will be multiple days without NBA action. Obviously, we'll be fine because I should be an NCAAB expert by then, but still. We need to get down on the NBA while it's here. It's the right thing to do. Especially when we have two moves that have a 0% chance of losing.

Oshae Brissett 15+ Points @ +162 (Bet $100 to win $162)

Odds available at FanDuel at time of publishing

We can take this kid at 12.5 -108 or we can bet 15+ for plus money like a bunch of champions. DraftKings doesn't have the 15+ option but they are showing 12.5 for -115 so that's only for you rich folks. Between us, that will most likely hit but I'm going all champion tonight.

Here's the thing the haters are going to say about Brissett tonight; he burned everyone last night. They're right, he did. But here's the thing. That game was on the road. Any true Oshae Brissett connoisseur will tell you, he's not the same guy on the road. So far this season he's shooting 45.3% compared to 34.2% on the road. The kid likes his home rims. What of it?

Tonight he's getting the Washington Wizards who are in flux after the trade deadline which is key. They feature a 23rd ranked defense in terms of efficiency so that's huge for us Brissett backers. I'm guessing this one stays relatively close so we're probably looking at full minutes as well. This feels right.

Quentin Grimes 15+ Points @ +162 (Bet $100 to win $162)

Odds available at FanDuel at time of publishing

Obviously, FanDuel is the place for this one too but he's being offered at 12.5 at DraftKings for -115 which is playable. I like the 15+ on both these guys simply because if one bombs and one doesn't, I still cash. That's just how being a plus money aficionado works.

The Knicks are getting the Brooklyn Nets in New York tonight so there will be no Kyrie Irving for the Nets. Just a bunch of randos running around out there. That's what we want. On top of that, RJ Barrett is out so Grimes will get run. We're talking Tom Thibodeau run here people.

Grimes made me a ton of coin at Houston in last year's NCAA Tournament so I know all about this kid. He's a three-ball guy and once he's going, he can't be stopped. He was literally put on this planet to drop three-pointers. He's that good.

Even though Brooklyn is number one in the NBA in opponent three-point percentage, I still think it won't matter. If they were so good, Duncan Robinson wouldn't have gone 5/8 against them the other night. I think Grimes could easily get home on this number tonight. It's just 15 points.
