NBA Player Prop Pick for Friday: Malik Monk From Deep

Since it's Friday night, we need to pay a little attention to the late slate. That's just how Friday nights work. With any luck, we'll sweat out our 7:00 pm ET bets right up until tip-off of the late game. That would give us at least four to five hours of nonstop gambling action. Otherwise known as "living the dream." As if that's not enough, there's a 10:00 pm ET game on ESPN so we can even watch the late show play out. All we have to do is find a play in that game and we're golden. Luckily for us, I've already taken the liberty of finding a move. Not just any move, but a plus money banger that has no chance of losing.

Malik Monk Over 2.5 Made Threes @ +120 (Bet $100 to win $120)

Odds available at FanDuel at time of publishing

This one is only at FanDuel or Barstool. Right now, Barstool is only offering +105 so obviously we're going with FanDuel at +120. Not sure why DraftKings and BetMGM are showing anything but I'm sure they'll be along soon enough. I doubt they beat +120 though.

I am going to assume LeBron James is playing tonight as that will only help our guy, Malik Monk, to find room to operate. James is questionable but it would be all-time ridiculous for him to miss this one after playing in the All-Star Game. Anything is possible with that guy though.

Still, I think we'll see Monk get back to his chuck and duck ways Friday night. Anthony Davis is back on the sidelines which opens up usage for the others. Monk was electric the last time Davis was out for an extended period so there's no reason he won't be this time. He wasn't a part of all-star weekend so he was probably home shooting threes the whole time. Like a boss.

Monk is getting the Clippers tonight which isn't the best matchup for threes but we're not talking about just anyone here. We're talking Malik Monk. The guy is shooting 40% from three-land this season. In two matchups with the Clippers this season Monk has taken at least eight threes and hit at least three of them in both games. This is a sneaky move and I should warn you that it could cash in the first quarter. I'm just saying.
