Philadelphia 76ers vs. Minnesota Timberwolves Best Bet: Bet on The 76ers Getting the W

We are fresh off a split last night on article plays, and today is the most excited I have ever been about writing an article! The reason for that is James Harden and the Philadelphia 76ers. As you all know by now, Harden was acquired via trade from the Brooklyn Nets in a deal that was centered around Ben Simmons. Simmons had not played this season after getting heavy criticism from the fans and even some fellow players. Simmons has become public enemy No. 1 in Philly, and the arrival of Harden is a welcomed sight to the Philly faithful. The pair of James Harden and MVP front-runner Joel Embiid is something many can not wait to see. Well, we will only have to wait a few more hours till we see it in action.

Philadelphia 76ers vs. Minnesota Timberwolves Prediction

The 76ers will be playing their first game since the all-star break, taking on the Minnesota Timberwolves. We were on the Timberwolves last night in a game that went down to the final couple minutes but was ultimately won by the Timberwolves. Minnesota has looked like a playoff team all season long, led by stars Karl Anthony-Towns, Anthony Edwards, and D'Angelo Russell. Their role players have filled their roles perfectly this year, and this is the best team Minnesota has had in quite some time. They will be tested tonight by the newly energized 76ers and be playing the second half of a back-to-back.

I am turning to the 76ers tonight on the moneyline.

This is no Philly bias. This is just my favorite play of the day. The arrival of James Harden is going to lift this team tremendously, and I expect an immediate impact tonight. The Timberwolves are not a very good defensive team, to begin with, and now they will have to deal with shutting down the pick and roll of Harden and Embiid. Philly has other guys still who can create in Tyrese Maxey and Tobias Harris. This is a really tough spot to back the TWolves, who are coming off a hard-fought win last night over Memphis. Their starters were taxed in that game, playing a lot of minutes and the majority of those minutes being significant down the stretch. I think Joel Embiid will be able to limit the scoring of Karl Anthony-Towns and force Minnesota to shoot the ball from three. I believe this is the perfect time to fade Minnesota and to back Philly, who is well-rested and will be hungry to get their first win with this new-look team. I am fired up for this game tonight. Let’s cash in another ticket!
