Chicago Bulls vs. Memphis Grizzlies Prediction: An Intriguing Buy-Low Opportunity

Sometimes the books overreact to when players have bad games and give out just plain disrespectful lines, sometimes it’s not just your day. We understand that and are looking to take advantage of a major overreaction.

1.5u - Zach LaVine o22.5 PTS @ -120 (Bet $120 to win $100)

I'm gonna say it, this line is just too low. I know that isn’t some mind-boggling analysis but we have to understand who we’re talking about here. Zach LaVine is a threat to score 30+ every time he steps on a basketball court and we only need 23 out of him. He has hit this in 34/47 games if you exclude the game he only played 4 minutes due to injury which is good for over a 73% hit rate. Getting a bet with that type of hit rate with very little juice is a no-brainer. Demar Derozan has been the talk of the town and deservedly so bit we can’t forget about our main man Zach LaVine.

Demar has been doing unhuman-like things, he has 35 or more PTS in eight straight games which is just unfair but this matchup projects to be easier for Zach. Last time out vs Memphis we saw Derozan “only” score 24 PTS without LaVine on 24 shot attempts. Memphis will make it their focal point to stop him yet again which should leave LaVine in advantageous positions following his lackluster 20 PT game vs Atlanta. Memphis allows the 11th most PTS to shooting guards and LaVine has hit this much more than not, we’ve gotta trust the date on this one.

Lastly, this game projects to be close. As of the time of writing, this is a pick-em game so we should be in store for a close game where all of the stars see their max minutes so hopefully, no blowout nonsense ruining our overs. I personally pegged LaVine at 24.5 so when I saw 22.5 my eyes lit up. He has hit this in 3 of his last 4 games vs the Grizzlies averaging 28.25 PTS during that span and all we need is a measly 23. I would play for 1u at 23.5 if you see this after the likely line movement. It pays off to look at props the night before, let's take advantage of a number that shouldn’t last.
