The juice is the exact same as yesterday, that didn’t stop me then and it’s not going to now. This bet is so good that we will continue to pay whatever the juice is to have exposure to these first quarter legends. Denver has now covered this bet in 20 of their last 23 games where Nikola Jokic plays. A near 87% hit rate in that span is worth paying this huge juice. Portland doesn't scare me off, especially after trading McCollum and Powell away.
With that being said, Portland has hit 15 first in four of their last five but they are due for some negative regression as they are simply not as talented as they previously were. Denver should win this one pretty sweat-free as they have done so many times so far during this stretch that we have hopped on. This is the second leg of a back-to-back for Denver but I don't imagine that to play as much of a factor in the 1st quarter as it potentially could later in the game when it comes to fatigue.
I almost feel like I’ve run out of things to say about this bet but I feel this absolute loyalty to this bet. There will come a day when it doesn’t hit but let's just hope that night isn’t Sunday night. When that day comes we will not complain and be upset, instead, we will pay our respects for the hard work this team has put forward for us and appreciate the better nights. I just don’t personally see Anfernee Simons and company being the team to ruin our favorite bet from hitting the win column yet again. -165 isn’t juice I would typically play for anything but this isn’t your everyday bet, this is our 2022 stimulus package.
