For today's three-point NBA prop, Stuart Durst looks to the rookie Jalen Green.
ANALYSIS

Sunday's NBA Player Prop Picks From Beyond the Arc: Trust the Rookie Jalen Green

Last time out we had an even split, going one for two in our 3-point article. Today, we talk about the Rockets vs Clippers game, and my favorite spot in it. I think we are getting a gift of a line here, and I'm ready to take advantage of it.

Jalen Green o1.5 3PM -145 (Bet $145 to win $100)

Green may not be the rookie phenom everyone was anticipating, but he's finally getting in his groove. One of the biggest troubles a lot of young players have is adapting their game to a new level, and the comfortability factor is essential. Earlier in the year Green was someone that definitely showed flashes of talent and athleticism but he never quite looked comfortable enough to continually hold those streaks, I think that's changed.

Over his last 10 games, Green is shooting 40.3% from beyond the Arc, averaging 16.5 points over that span. It's clear that during this span, he's settled down, he has 3+ 3PM in five straight games, and is over this number in nine of his last 11 games. While I was worried he might have slowed down over the All-Star break, he came out the gate firing going 4-9 from 3 against the Magic (lead the team in both shot and 3-point attempts).

Additionally, we get a pretty solid matchup against the Clippers. When these two teams played just before the All-Star break, Green went 5-10 from beyond the arc. While I normally don't play guys that just succeeded against Ty Lue (great at making quick adjustments), the Clippers ended up winning that game 142-111 so I doubt they are gonna be running to change things up. Rather than a hot streak, I think we can start to expect this is the new normal from Jalen Green.
