The longest winning streak in the NBA doesn't belong to the league-best Suns or the East-leading Heat or the suddenly world-beating Sixers. No, the team currently riding six victories in a row is the same one that recently found out they're likely to get not one but two max players back into their healthy rotation before the end of the season: the Denver Nuggets.
Over the last six games, Denver has outscored their opponents by 67 points, which is 11 more than the second place Clippers over that span and more than double the third place Heat. They've been so dominant that their reigning MVP hasn't even needed to do much heavy lifting. In their last game - a 32-point win in Portland - Nikola Jokic took just five shots while grabbing 18 rebounds and dishing 11 assists. That came after back-to-back post-All-Star performances against the Kings when he took 15 and 16 shots, respectively, all while averaging a triple double.

Against tonight's opponent, he again might not need to do too much. The Thunder, who just lost to the Kings by 31 after Denver beat Sacramento by 23 total points in the previous two games, are in full tank mode. More than half of their normal rotation is sidelined with injuries, and other than Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, they're sorely lacking in commensurate talent to put up a fight here. My heart goes out to power-forward-turned-center Isaiah Roby, who will have the unfortunate task of slowing down Jokic tonight. Thoughts and prayers.
In short, this line can't be high enough. Give the points and enjoy Denver's lucky seven in a row.

The Knicks almost made me look bad for picking against them against these same Sixers on Sunday afternoon, actually taking the lead against Philly for a few brief moments in the fourth quarter. Alas, New York reminded us who they were, and ended up losing by 16 after completely sputtering down the stretch.
That's what happens when you have a team without a true point guard and a nominal leader in Julius Randle mired in a 6-for-28 slump. Thankfully for Knicks fans, RJ Barrett has slowly but surely taken the reigns as the lead dog on this team, and had himself a solid if inefficient performance against the Sixers. He'll once again harbor New York's best hopes.
Overall though, this isn't a fair fight. They lost at home by a decent margin despite Evan Fournier and Immanuel Quickley combining to go 9-for-18 from deep, and no one else on this team figures to surprise with a hot shooting night tonight, what with surprising rookie Quentin Grimes sidelined, Alec Burks slumping and RJ taking more of his talents inside the arc as opposed to waiting for kick-outs like was the case earlier in the year.
Outside of an unlikely hot shooting game, the Knicks simply can't stay with the league's best teams. Tonight will be no exception. It may be New York's first time being a double digit dog this season, but don't let that bother you. Give the points at home.
