The matchup we will be looking at tonight will be an affair between the Indians Pacers and the Orlando Magic. These two teams just played on Monday, and our best NBA bet was on the Pacers team total under, which hit with ease. I will have a play tonight similar to that for this game. This is a game again that will not be all that pretty.

The Pacers and the Magic have already started playing their cavitations for the offseason as neither of these teams has any hopes of the postseason. The Pacers blew up their team at the trade deadline, but they did acquire a young star in the form of Tyrese Haliburton. Haliburton is likely the guy that the Pacers will start their rebuild around. The Pacers also landed a sharpshooter and a former lottery pick in the form of Buddy Hield in the deal, who can add some three-point shooting. The Pacers will also return their best overall player tonight in Malcolm Brogdon. Brogdon has struggled to get healthy all season long, but when he is on the floor, he is an all-star talent.

The Magic are in a full rebuild mode right now, which landed them two lottery picks last season. The first one came in the form of Gonzaga standout Jalen Suggs and the other one Michigan alumni Franz Wagner. The Magic have some other pieces they feel can contribute long-term, like Wendell Carter, and they are still hopeful that Markel Fultz can turn his career around. The future in Orlando could be bright if these young guys pan out, but their current roster is one of the worst in all of the NBA. The play I am going with tonight is a team total under, but this time, I am taking the Orlando Magic team total under instead of the Indiana Pacers team total under. The Magic shot the ball very well in the last game, and they got up almost one hundred shots in that game, something I just do not see happening tonight. The addition of Brogdon back in the lineup will really lift up this Pacers defense that has struggled during this season. The Magic offense just doesn’t have a ton of firepower that really scares me, and I think their pace will be slower in this game tonight.
Orlando is one of the worst offenses in all of the NBA, scoring just 103.8 points per game; the only teams worse than Orlando are Detroit and Oklahoma City. I know Indiana has struggled on defense this year, but this number we are getting tonight is almost twelve points over their season average. I just do not think they will be able to have a similar offensive performance as they did on Monday. I love the number we are getting here tonight.
