Chicago Bulls vs. Milwaukee Bucks Prediction: Bank on the Bulls to Struggle

I am back with my best bet for the NBA on this beautiful Friday. We are 4-0 to kick off the week in the NBA, and the goal here is simple. We have to go 7-0 this week to get a perfect week in the NBA! The play we hit last night was the Sacramento Kings team total under, which did not look great early in the third quarter, but their legs go to them down the stretch playing on back to back, and we were able to sneak out a win. The goal will be the same tonight, and we will look at a matchup between two of the best teams in all of the NBA, the Milwaukee Bucks and the Chicago Bulls.

Chicago Bulls vs. Milwaukee Bucks Prediction

The Bucks will head to the Windy City looking for a win after completing a big fourth-quarter comeback over the Miami Heat on Wednesday. On the flip side, the Bulls are coming off a hard-fought loss last night to the Atlanta Hawks. The Bulls currently are the number two seed in the Eastern Conference, but the issue for them has been winning games against the best teams in the NBA. This has made people question how good of a team the Bulls really are or if they are just beating up on weaker completion.

It is a fair question overall, but one thing that no one can dispute is the play of all-star guard DeMar DeRozan. DeRozan, the pride of Compton, California, has been having one of the best seasons in Chicago Bulls history. He is rated as the most clutch player in all of the NBA this season and has led the Bulls to the number two seed. Zach LaVine has been great for the Bulls this year as well as big man and former all-star Nikola Vucevic. The Bulls have had to deal with injuries; however, as of late losing starting point guard Lonzo Ball and spark plug Alex Caruso. The Bulls also lost their best defender and former lottery pick, Patrick Williams, early in the season. The Bucks look like the team that just won the NBA finals showing that they are hungry for another championship led by Giannis. Khris Middleton saw himself land in another all-star game as well this season, and their role players have stepped up and played quality basketball. This should be a fun game to watch tonight.

The play I am turning to for this game tonight is going to be another team total under. These have been on fire all season long, and I found a good spot here for us tonight. The Bulls team total under which is currently sitting at 118.5. This is a very tough number to reach against a defense that is as good as the Bucks can be. I know stats-wise, they do not look great this year compared to other seasons, but that is largely due to the fact that Jrue Holiday missed a lot of games this season. Holiday is one of the best on-ball defenders in all of the NBA, and I think he matches up very well with the Bull's guards tonight.

The Bucks defense will show up for this game and make life difficult for these Bulls. The Bulls on the season average 112.5, which is six points under this number. They also have not gone over this number back to back in over a month and only two times in the past two months. This is a spot similar to the Kings that in the second half, their legs will catch up to them shooting the basketball. This is not a very deep team, so their starters play a ton of minutes and should feel it tonight. Let’s keep things rolling and start the NBA week 5-0!
