I've talked about Rui Hachimura at length this season, but let's do it again, it's fun. Eventually one of these games he's gonna miss, but the extreme consistency and great matchup means I doubt it's likely to happen today. On the season Rui is shooting 52% from beyond the arc, hitting at least one three in 16 of his last 18 games and in 8 eight straight. Over his last 10 games, he's shooting over 70% from beyond the Arc.

I understand why this play has flown under the radar, if you're not watching the Wizards actively then it can be very easy to miss the improvement from the 7th man, playing 20-26 minutes per game, but his shot looks great. When asked about his recent success he said, “I’m just being confident in my shooting. I like to shoot like its practice. In practice, I do game shots and that's exactly what I've been doing all season long”. The confidence is clear to anyone who has seen him shoot in the past versus this year, and we have good news from coach Wes Unseld Jr who said, “I want Rui to keep shooting it. It's a great sign for us and also a sign of his maturity, that he's growing”.

As for Deni Avdija, I'm surprised we're getting this line. Deni is averaging 5.5 on the season, along with 6.6 over his last 10 games, which includes two games cut short due to injury. Readers of my last 3-point article still cashed this Deni rebound play last game, with him converting 4 rebounds in only 9 minutes of playing time. This is a ridiculous line and one I look forward to exploiting. He's hit this in 15 of his last 17 games and I don't expect that to slow down anytime soon, anytime his length on defense is needed, he should see large minutes.

Corey Kispert 1+ 3PM/Ish Smith 12 PRA (-145) (Bet $145 to Win $100) (0.75u)
Rui Hachimura 1+ 3PM/Ish Smith 12 PRA (+100) (Bet $100 to Win $100) (0.5u)
It's weird that this Ish Smith line is still available. Even with Satoransky pickup, Ish Smith has played 20+ minutes, hitting this number, in every game with the Wizards this season. He has had 23, 13, 18, 23, 17, 16, and 16 easily hitting this in 7/7 games. The Hawks present a great matchup for Ish, who should be able to comfortably push the pace and excel in his midrange game. Kispert is a great piece, he's gone over in 15 of his last 16 games and seen 30+ minutes in every game since the all-star break.
