Beef Stew is one of my favorite players. He is one of those guys who’s impact isn’t accurately reflected from just his numbers, he does the small stuff. For tonight we care about the stats though and we don’t mind how he gets them. He has nights he hits this prop one with mostly points and other nights with mostly rebounds. We threw in assists as well because he has 5 vs them earlier in the year and Atlanta allows the 3rd most to the position. Last time out vs Atlanta he put up 25 PRA and all we need tonight is 18, I like our chances.

Stewart has hit this prop in 15 of his last 16 games which is so difficult to find a prop with that hit rate in the year. The one miss came against Memphis where he only played 17 minutes due to foul trouble. Although foul trouble is a possibility again, we can’t deny the recent hit rate and success vs Capela/Hawks. This number should probably be 19.5 if we’re being honest. Atlanta ranks averagely in terms of points and rebounds allow to big men so this has no reason to be this low. If Thomas Bryant can hit this number off the bench in Atlantas last matchup then Beef Stew do it tonight.

The game spread favors Atlanta by -7.5 but Detroit has been playing teams closer lately so I wouldn’t be deterred by blowout potential too much. The last time Detroit played in a game decides by double digits was February 11th so almost a full month ago. As long as Stewart stays out of foul trouble this should be a cash. In his last 16 games he has hit 94% of the time. You just rarely see props with hit rates like that. He has barely eclipsed this number in numerous of those but as long as we hit I don’t mind if it’s by 100 or 1, just pay me out. I’m stoked about this one and to see where it’s at in upcoming games if the trend continues.
