I am back with my best NBA bet for the new week, fresh off a huge 6-1 NBA article week. I think we can do better this week by going 7-0 on NBA picks. We had a great win last night on the Nuggets money line that may have been a little bit lucky. The Nuggets stormed back from down eleven with three minutes left. Sometimes though, in this business, it is lucky to be better than good.
The play I am looking at tonight will be a western conference affair between the Utah Jazz and the Dallas Mavericks. The Jazz enter play as one of the best teams in the western conference this season, sporting a record of 40-23 on the season. The Mavericks enter play playing to the tune of a 39-25 overall record. The Jazz when healthy have been lights out this year but they have struggled at times to be healthy. Donovan Mitchell, the star of their team, has missed games this year, and reigning defensive player of the year Rudy Gobert, has been in and out of the lineup over the last month. This is a deep Utah roster with hopes of making a run at an NBA title.

The Mavericks are also looking to make a run at the title, and they have a good chance when number seventy-seven is playing. Luka Doncic, who came into the season as the pre-season MVP favorite, has been close to that this season. The playmaking ability of the twenty-two-year-old Slovenian is video game-like. The Mavs also added shooting guard Spencer Dinwiddie at the trade deadline to bring more scoring to their lineup. This is a talented Dallas roster who competes in every game they play in. This should be a great game tonight between two of the best teams in the West.
I will be backing the road dog tonight in the Utah Jazz. The first reason is Utah is fairly healthy, and they should have their stars in Mitchell and Gobert and their shooters to surround them. The Jazz have been a very good road team this season, and they are being undervalued here tonight. The Mavericks will be without one of their best players in Jalen Brunson, who has been playing outstanding this season. Brunson really runs this offense and will be a huge missing piece tonight. The Mavericks also will be without a couple of other backup guards, so their depth here could be an issue. They are still missing sharpshooter Tim Hardaway Jr as well, and Maxi Kleber appears to be a game-time decision.

I think Utah matches up very well here in this spot tonight. I would obviously love it if Gobert could go for this game tonight, but I believe Whiteside could step in and do a very good job in this game. Dallas does not have great big men, so I do not see it being a massive issue if Gobert can not go. If Gobert does play in this game, I think Utah will close as the favorite. I expect a great game plan on Doncic tonight from coach Quinn Snyder and a win for the Jazz. Let’s stay hot on these bets tonight!
