Detroit Pistons vs Chicago Bulls Prediction: Marvin Bagley Boards
We are on a player we’ve never bet on and I think this is the perfect debut for him. The books seemed to misprice him tonight, we’ve gotta take it while we can.

1u - Marvin Bagley o7.5 REB (-135) (Bet $135 to win $100)
This is one of those bets where you cant use hit rate because he has an opportunity tonight he never seems to have. With Isaiah Stewart injured we should see Marvin Bagley play 30+ minutes of action. Although there’s a chance that he still comes off the bench in favor of Kelly Olynyk, I believe last games minutes are a great indicator he plays often regardless. Last game Bagley played 36 minutes and opened the third quarter which is a great sign. I think tonight's matchup vs Chicago should be a good spot for him to great 8 boards.
Last game Bagley grabbed 10 rebounds and looked really active on the offensive glass. You would think tonight we would be scared off because Vucevics status is questionable but regardless of whether he plays tonight or not this should hit. Without Vuc I think lowers the risk of a blowout and Tristan Thompson certainly wouldn’t be a threat to pull Bagley from the basket but Vuc playing doesn’t scare me. Vuc gave up 21 rebounds to Steven Adams a few weeks ago, if Adams can do that then Bagley can get us eight.

Bagley is averaging 7.1 rebounds per game in just 22.3 minutes. He is averaging 11.5 rebounds per 36 minutes. 36 minutes could be had tonight so we’re getting a huge discount if this game stays close. Pistons have been playing teams very close. The last Pistons game decided by double digits was nearly a month ago on February 11. This prop seems too low and I would have considered it at 8.5 as well. We’re sticking with one unit here to be safe but this could be my favorite play of the day.
I’ll end on this, Bagley averages 13.5 rebounds per 36 against Vucevic. If he doesn’t play then he faces off against a brick in Tristan Thompson so Bagley can camp under the rim. It’s a win/win.
