We are currently on a 9-2 NBA run in these last two weeks on article plays, and I am excited to get into tonight’s best net. Last night we had a pretty sweat-free win on the Nets -3, but sometimes I like when we have to sweat for the win! Tonight we will be heading to San Antonio for a battle between the Toronto Raptors and the San Antonio Spurs.

The Spurs enter play on the outside, looking in for a play-in game, but they have had a lot of bright spots along the way. One of those bright spots is first-time all-star guard in the form of Dejounte Murray. Murray, a native of Seattle, Washington, has been the heartbeat for the team so far this season. He has been doing everything for this team; whether it’s scoring or assists, or even steals, he has been doing it this year.
The Raptors have had a solid season positioning themselves in the postseason at the moment. They got off to a rocky start, but they have really picked up their play since, and this is a team I promise no one wants to see in a playoff series. They have championship DNA thru this roster and one of the best head coaches in the NBA in Nick Nurse.

They will be looking to steal a road win tonight. The biggest headline of this game is the Spurs head coach Greg Popovich. Pop will be looking to break the record tonight for most wins all-time as an NBA head coach. He appears to be the greatest coach to ever live at the NBA level and will look to capture this accomplishment tonight. The Raptors will be looking to play spoiler here on the road.
The play I am turning to tonight will be the road team in the Toronto Raptors. I think this line is a gift if you look at how these two teams match up. The Spurs are one of the worst defenses in all of the NBA, and the Raptors are one of the best defenses in the NBA. The style of game that the Spurs want to play will not work against this Toronto team due to the pace.
The Raptors will not allow themselves to get into a track meet type of temp but rather slow down the game and play in the half-court sets. I think there are too many matchups that the Raptors can go to tonight against the Spurs team. I do not see how the Spurs sit down and guard them for a full game tonight. The only way I see this one getting away from Toronto is if the Spurs have a crazy shooting night, but I am willing to bet against that. I have this money line closer to the -230 range, so the line we get here is a no-brainer for me. I believe the line could be a little skewed tonight due to the fact that Pop is going for the record. I hope Pops gets it next game, but the record will have to wait tonight!
