Philadelphia 76ers vs. Brooklyn Nets Prediction
Be honest. When is the last time you looked forward to something as much as the reaction Ben Simmons will get tonight from the Philly home crowd?
Even if there were no off the court storylines involved in this game and it was just about the two teams on the court, there's an argument that this is the game of the year in the NBA. Kevin Durant is back healthy. Kyrie Irving is allowed to play and is coming off of a 50-point game on an absurd 19 shots. Presumptive MVP Joel Embiid is putting the finishing touches on his case for major hardware. And of course, James Harden is reminding everyone of how good he can be when he tries, leading the Sixers to an undefeated record in games he's played, with an average margin of victory of 16.6.
And of course, there's everything else...Simmons back in Philadelphia, Harden vs the team he quit on, a possible first-round playoff preview...even lesser guys like DeAndre Jordan, Andre Drummond, and Seth Curry facing off against their old teams.

This line is more than a pick'em but the points aren't prohibitive, and with both Durant and Irving motivated to show their old running mate what he left behind, picking against the Nets is scary. But this game is in Philly, and the truth is that Brooklyn has no one to match up with Joel Embiid. Embiid and Drummond were teammates for most of this season, but for the majority of their careers, The Process has eaten his lunch. That won't change tonight. Brooklyn is coming off a win, but even with that Irving 50-spot, it was only an 11-point win against a team with zero threat in the middle. Give the points at home.

Denver Nuggets vs. Golden State Warriors Prediction
This one isn't complicated. Denver has won 10 of 11 and even though they still show signs of inconsistency, they still know who they are, and more importantly, who they revolve around.
Nikola Jokic continues to play out of his mind. His last three games - all Denver wins - have featured scoring outputs of 46, 32, and 38 points on 22, 17, and 24 shots. He is making a real case for a second straight MVP.
The Warriors, meanwhile, are coming off a nice win versus the Clippers at home, but have still lost seven of nine and haven't sorted out their offensive issues. These teams played two games ago and Denver emerged victoriously. The result won't be different here. Go with the home team.
