The Pelicans will play host to the Charlotte Hornets. The Hornets staters the season as one of the best teams across the NBA but since have struggled to find any momentum. The Hornets are one of the worst teams in all of the NBA on the defensive end, and that has made it difficult for them to find a flow during their season.

The saving grace of their season has been the offensive efficiency of this team and the volume that they can score with. The star this season has been guard Lamelo Ball, who landed himself the rights to his first career all-star game. Miles Bridges has also been outstanding for the Hornets and put his name firmly in position for most improved player.

The Pelicans started the season ice cold and looked like one of the worst teams in the NBA but have since been on a nice run once they acquired all-star guard CJ McCollum. They have really found some nice flow on offense since the arrival of CJ.

I will be backing the road team in the Charlotte Hornets tonight. I love the line we are getting here as I have this thing closer to -200 tonight. The Pelicans do not have enough offense tonight without Ingram and Mccollum to keep pace with the Hornet's offense. I think this pelicans team will struggle to obtain any type of offensive flow without their stars.

I am not sure who they will turn to that can provide them enough points in this game. The offense for the Hornets should flow easily and make this a tough game for the Pelicans to keep up with in terms of pace. I think that we see this game turn into a track meet tonight, and that should be good news for this Hornets team. The Hornets appear to be healthy and ready to go for tonight’s game.
