Against Miami, he had 9 assists against Miami allows the 9th fewest assist to SG’s and 4th fewest as a team. Against Utah, he had 7 assists and allow the 7th fewest assists to SG’s and 6th fewest overall. The one miss against a hook against the Pelicans wear he ended with 5 but that’s no easy task as New Orleans allows the 10th fewest assists to SG’s. The one time Booker had a favorable assist matchup was against OKC, when he was without CP3 and was against a cupcake defense he doubled what we need tonight and got 12.

That leads us to tonight's matchup. Toronto allows the 4th most AST to SG’s so getting this at 5.5 at plus odds is a crime. We have to disregard Bookers 'last game vs Toronto because Paul played in that contest. Cameron Payne is a great passer and will be starting alongside Book but they can certainly co-exist like they did against Miami. If Devin can get 6+ vs a brutal defense like Miami or Utah he can certainly do this vs Toronto. I actually like Toronto's odds of keeping this one close too because Phoenix is a great letdown spot after upsetting Miami. If that’s the case Booker should see his usual large minutes and have all the opportunity in the world to cash this ticket for us.

This prop has hit in 4 of his last 5 games and this is an A+ matchup. I think I would consider playing this at 6.5 for 1u if it were to move. It’s rare that I make a play higher than 1 unit but this is a play I feel extra good about so we’ll go 1.5u. Cameron Payne will get his fair share of assists but with Chris Paul out I know that Devin will have some floor general duties in spurts of this game. This is a super line that has upside to hit in the 3rd quarter. This won’t be plus odds for long, I won’t hold you any longer. Get this bet in ASAP!
