There's only one thing I don't like about March Madness/Selection Sunday. It's not a complaint and I don't think it should change so it's not a big deal. But getting a bracket in your hand and then having to wait more than 24 hours for a game is not easy on the soul. We're gamblers. We need action. Again, I get why it has to be this way and there really is no solution other than being patient. It's just hard. Lucky for us the NBA is just hanging around so we can bet that. It keeps us in the practice of following a basketball around our screen so we're better for it. There are also plus money opportunities we can take advantage of. It's definitely enough to get us by until the kids start playing again.

Jakob Poeltl To Record a Double-Double (+140)

This one is at Barstool so I'd recommend trying there first before anywhere else. BetMGM is hanging +125 which is the second-best number I saw so they are an option too. The last resort would be DraftKings and FanDuel as they both have +115. I don't mind +115 but if everyone else is getting +140 it kind of sucks.

The Spurs held our guy, Jakob, out last game so he should be fresh for this one. It was a much needed night off since Jakob has been going hard in the paint lately. We're talking two straight double-doubles here people. One was against the Jazz and Rudy Gobert so it definitely plays. He's not doing this magic against scrubs.

Tonight Jakob will see Karl-Anthony Towns and the Minnesota Timberwolves which bodes well for us. First off, Jarred Vanderbilt is out which helps us in the rebounds category. That guy is a hoover that cleans glass like it's his sole purpose to be alive. Having him sit is a big deal. He sat last game and Bam Adebayo dropped a dub-dub. That's good.

It's not just about Vanderbilt though. Towns is a guy that opposing centers can score on and rebound against. Mo Bamba just went 27-12 on him. What the hell is that about? Not just Bamba either. Drew Eubanks went 13-8 in 28 minutes. That's a 15-15 game for Jakob. Even Isaiah Roby put up a 21-10 game against Towns this month. That's ridiculous.

People could play Jakob's points at 14.5 +100 if they want but I'm going for the gold here. A +140 double-double is about as sneaky as it gets. Jakob has done that in both of his last two games and the matchup calls for another tonight. We shouldn't get +140 for this. I think DraftKings and FanDuel are more in line with reality on this one. It's worth a bet.
