The Phoenix Suns enter tonight's game on the second night of a back-to-back after defeating the New Orleans Pelicans last night. Phoenix's rolling 10-day record now sits at 6-4 as the team continues to navigate their schedule without the help of Chris Paul, who remains on the team's injury list. Luckily, the Suns' opponent tonight is the Houston Rockets, a team that has struggled for consistency and relevancy all season, and tonight should be no different. Houston enters this game with a 2-8 record over their last 10 games, and according to the team's injury report, will potentially be without Eric Gordon for tonight's contest due to right knee tendinitis. Tonight is the fourth meeting between these two teams, with the Suns holding a commanding 3-0 record on their season series. I don't envision Phoenix dropping this game, but will back the Rockets on a +15.5-point spread just in case the Suns' legs begin to tire down the stretch and Houston uses its youth to claim a much-needed victory.

The Brooklyn Nets scored 150 points last night, albeit against a struggling Orlando Magic team, but now, on the second night of a back-to-back, the Nets will face off against the Dallas Mavericks. We can expect the Mavericks to be a much sterner test for the Nets than last night's game, and when you factor in the minimal rest the Brooklyn roster has had, it's hard to favor them heading into the contest. In terms of form, the Nets have won 5 of their last 10 games, while the Mavericks boast an 8-2 record over their last 10, and haven't played since their victory over the Boston Celtics on Sunday. With the additional rest, the Mavericks have a slight advantage coming into this game. The Nets are yet to release their injury report, so we're yet to find out who the team will be missing, or how much more of an advantage the Mavericks can possibly create. Still, I like Dallas to win tonight's game, they're one of the more "in-form" teams at present and the backcourt duo of Spencer Dinwiddie and Luka Doncic is beginning to click. I'm going to give the Nets a +8-point spread for this game because when Kevin Durant is playing, you're always going to be there or thereabouts.

The final leg of this three-team parlay sees the struggling Los Angeles Lakers face off against a surging Minnesota Timberwolves team. The Timberwolves are 8-and-2 in their last ten games, and Karl-Anthony Towns has hit new heights in recent weeks, earning praise from around the league and proving there's still more to come from the team's franchise center. Throw in the rapid developments of Anthony Edwards and D'Angelo Russell's adaption to become more of a playmaker, and the Timberwolves look like they're for real. The Lakers, on the other hand, have won 2 of their last 8 games and continue to look like a team that's already accepted their fate this year. At this point, Lakers fans are waiting for the off-season so the front office can strip this core back down to the bare bones and rebuild this roster into a championship hopeful. Both teams will enter tonight's game with one or more members of their core rotation on the injury list, but the Lakers continue to miss Anthony Davis, who has been in and out of the rotation with injury all season. I like the Timberwolves for tonight's game, but in the spirit of covering all bases, will be backing the Lakers on a +14-point spread.

Boston Celtics vs. Golden State Warriors, Single-Game Parlay

  • Al Horford Over 10.5 Points
  • Marcus Smart Over 1.5 Threes

Odds: +332 (Bet $100 to Win $332)

The Boston Celtics have been one of the most in-form teams since the turn of the year, the Golden State Warriors were one of the most in-form teams to start the season - both teams have had their time atop of the NBA mountain throughout this regular season, and now they face off against each other for the second time. The Warriors won the last meeting between these two teams, but a lot has changed since then. However, Golden State now has its big three back together, and that matters, because the team's spacing and pace are going to be vastly improved, as is their defense. Over the last 10 games, the Celtics have won 7 of their last 10 games, and have been riding the hot hand of Jayson Tatum, the Warriors, on the other hand, have won 5 of their last 10 and are undefeated since Draymond Green returned to the line-up. I'm expecting Al Horford to get a few shots up in this game as his size and shooting ability will pose problems for a small Warriors rotation, while Marcus Smart always gets hot from deep in the big games. While I do like the Celtics for this contest, I'm going to back the Warriors by taking Boston on a +10-point spread, which allows us plenty of margin for error, assuming our player props are on the money.

Sacramento Kings vs. Milwaukee Bucks, Single-Game Parlay

  • Sacramento Kings +12.5
  • DeAaron Fox Under 26.5 Points
  • Domantas Sabonis Over 11.5 Rebounds

Odds:+429 (Bet $100 to Win $429)

The Sacramento Kings have a tough task tonight. The Milwaukee Bucks are surging of late and have won 7 of their last 10 games, as they bid to make up for lost time from earlier in the season where injuries derailed their hopes of getting out to a hot start. The Kings are struggling right now, having won just 3 of their last 10 games. I'm expecting Jrue Holiday to lock-up DeAaron Fox tonight, which is why we're taking him to score under 26.5 points on our player prop, but I do expect Domantas Sabonis to have a good game on the glass - as he usually does. Neither team is missing any of their core players for tonight's contest, so there can be no excuses, and we can expect no surprises. I'm backing the Bucks to win comfortably here and will be backing the Kings on a +12.5-point spread.
