Why is this like 12.5? I just don’t understand. The last time we bet this Rudy clutched up in the second half after an abysmal first half so he clearly read the article at halftime and felt bad. Tonight I expect him to respect our cash in all four quarters. The Frenchman is averaging a whopping 14.7 rebounds per game on the year and all we need is 13? Count me in. I understand what some of you might be thinking and it’s a fair thought. You’re probably thinking that because Vucevic is a capable shooter and Gobert will have fewer rebounding opportunities. Gobert has matched up with Vucevic 11 times in his career. This bet has hit vs Nikola in the last 10. The only time that Gobert has failed to hit this prop was in 2014 and Gobert played just 14 minutes that game. Since Gobert had been a distinguished pro he has hit in 10/10 vs Vuc. I understand the thought process behind why you might think this won’t hit but the fact of the matter is that it has been hitting vs Vuc on the regular. Gobert has hit this in 7 of his last 9 games and is averaging 14.3 rebounds per game in that span.

Whoever keeps making these 12.5 lines for Gobert is clearly a big fan of charity. Bulls and Jazz are two premier teams in this league and I like the chances of this game remaining close and Gobert getting plenty of minutes to bring this home for us. The last dominant center Chicago played was Embiid who snagged 14 rebounds in that game. I like Gobert to get 14 himself so if this moves to 13.5 today I would say it’s still playable if you get it for plus money. This is a must-bet and one I expect to be more popular throughout gambling.
