Monday's NBA Player Prop Pick From Beyond the Arc: LeBron James Will Let It Fly
Anytime we get LeBron James facing one of his former teams, we're always in for a show. That being said, this isn't the same Cleveland team he has faced for the last couple of years. With both teams fighting for playoff seeding, I'm expecting an absolute brawl between LeBron James and his former team.

LeBron James Over 2.5 3PM (-140) (Bet $140 to Win $100)
The fact that it's 2022, and LeBron James is having the kind of season he is, is utterly insane. The 37-year-old is currently second in the NBA in scoring with 29.8 points per game, and he's barely keeping this Lakers team afloat. Today we get him against the Cleveland Cavaliers, one of the league's biggest surprises this year, but most notably his former team. LeBron has played Cleveland once this year, scoring 26 points in 28 minutes. If there's any game he's really gonna get up for, it's this one.

What I really like here, above any other sort of narrative, is his recent form. In the month of March, LeBron is averaging 3.4 3PM on 8.8 attempts per game. He’s over 2.5 in 6 of his last 10, but he has 7, 8, 9, and 9 attempts in his misses. That's crazy, the pure volume he has right now is almost unmatched, and with Clevland being a team with a very strong interior, I expect him to continue taking a large portion of his shots outside.
The last time he matched up against the Cavaliers, he went 1-10 from beyond the arc, but considering the fact that he's shooting 35.7% from three this year, getting this kind of volume is an auto-bet for me. LeBron won't hit this in every game this year, but if he continues taking this many 3-point shots, then this will likely be a bet I can't resist going back to multiple times. Not only are we getting a good number on paper, but the stars are aligning with a great narrative matchup against Cleveland.
