NBA Player Prop Picks for Tuesday: Mitchell Robinson Will Be a Monster

There are only four games on the NBA slate tonight people. A lot of guys would get sad when they see a slate like that. It's a natural reaction to seeing something you don't like. Then I remembered what I always tell myself in situations like this, "stop being sad, start being awesome". It works 100% of the time. This time around, the second I said it, I noticed that the New York Knicks are hosting the Atlanta Hawks tonight. Not only that but the game is on TNT. It was "turn that frown upside down" time immediately. Anyone who knows anything about anything knows what time it is when the New York Knicks play on TNT. This could be the greatest day of our gambling lives.

There are so many things that go through my mind on a night like tonight so let's just break it all down. The first thing you should know is if you want a double-double, do it at DraftKings. They have +280 while FanDuel is only offering +240. If you just want rebounds, DraftKings is the place to go for that since they have 9.5 at +105. For me, I'm just going the old 10+ points route at FanDuel. That's just good living people.

Everyone is going to say that since Julius Randle is out that means Mitch will eat. Let's be clear. Mitch will eat whenever he wants to eat. He doesn't need Randle's permission. But, if we're being completely objective here, Randle being out might be a good thing. Maybe we see a couple more pick and rolls. None of us would have a problem with that.

I also think the haters will come out and say that Mitch posted a four-point game against the Hawks on Christmas Day. That's true. Not hiding from that. It happened. But that could have been because Kemba Walker was jacking up shots from everywhere that game. He took 12 attempts and only made three. Literally, two weeks later Mitch played the Hawks again without Kemba in the lineup. He went 14-13 all over those guys. Problem solved.

People don't realize that the Hawks can't hang on the interior. They look like they can but they can't. They're fake in there. If you don't think so, ask yourself this. How did Jonas Valanciunas put 26 and 12 on them like it was nothing? Don't want to slander Jonas? Fine. What about Bobby Portis, Ivica Zubac, Isaiah Jackson, Drew Eubanks, and Mason Plumlee? They all had double-doubles against the Hawks in the last 13 days. Mitch is going to kill these guys.
