Clint Capela No Double-Double (-145) (Bet $145 to win $100)
*Odds Available at Caesars at Time of Publishing*
Cardio Clint is one of a kind. The man can look great one night and abysmal the next. All in all, he’s had a lackluster year and I don’t see that improving much tonight. Clint has only recorded 3 double-doubles in his last 9 games and tonight against the Pistons he may not play a big factor. In his two games against Detroit, he has failed to get a double-double in both matchups, and in one of those games he played an additional 5 minutes of overtime and racked up more stats.
Detroit ranks near league average against centers in points and rebounds allowed. Clint could get double digits within one of the categories but to ask for both is asking for a lot. We’ve seen Capela in favorable matchups where he should definitely crush and he ends the game with 8/8. Atlanta is on the second leg of a back to back so I actually expect this game to remain close but even if Clint sees 26-30 minutes I just don’t see him hitting the double-double here.

Clint has failed to reach a double-double in 4 of his last 5 games on a back to back, and is 0/2 versus Detroit. Factoring those in together makes me really think he ends this game with maybe 8 pts and 10 rebounds. I would take his under for points before I would his under for rebounds but I much prefer this prop giving us the extra insurance. Clint last night only shot one time and only had 6 rebounds. If either happen again tonight we will cash this with ease. Trae Young is a Piston's killer so hopefully, he ballhogs again like last night.
