I really wanted exposure to Devin Booker against Minnesota. It’s no secret that Devin Booker is great friends with both Karl Anthony Towns and D’Angelo Russell. This season when facing off against the duo he has scored 29 points in both games. Booker's regular prop is at 28.5 so the over would have hit both times. With that being said, it’s too close of a call and I wanted to bring the number down some and another “safe” leg.
Suns enter this game as -1.5 point favorites but I could definitely see them losing outright. Minnesota have a solid team and Suns are pretty clearly in the 1 spot in the West so Minnesota could be hungrier. +8.5 is a large spread that I think they should have no issue covering. Without CP3, Devin Booker has averaged nearly over 28 points per game and is nearly up 3 pts extra than he is without him. 25 seems like a layup in what should be a highly motivated effort from him.
This game has a 237.5 total so I figure a high-scoring game from both sides here. I just don't see Phoenix getting nearly 120 points without Booker accounting for 25 of them at least. Bridges, Payne, and others would need career days. If DraftKings ever opens up the leading scorer for this game I think Booker is the obvious answer even with KAT, Edwards, and DLo on the opposing side. I don’t expect Booker to be popular tonight because his props are set very fair so we shouldn’t have to worry about any collusion because of it being a popular public play that lead to ghost fouls.
