Friday's NBA Player Props Pick From Beyond the Arc: Back This Washington Wizard Pair

Going back to a familiar face for this column today. While the Wizards and Pistons technically aren't fighting for anything at this point, there definitely is still some value in the prop market here. With a total of 222 and a close 4 point spread, this is one of the remaining close games between two struggling teams.

Kristaps Porzingis 3+ 3PM (+330) (Bet $100 to Win $330)

*Odds available at FanDuel at time of publishing*

We’ll start with a bit of a long shot here. While Porzingis is finally being ramped up to playing 30+ minutes, this is the second leg of a B2B. The good news here is that Daniel Gafford and Kyle Kuzma will both miss this game, meaning the remaining center depth will be a foul-prone Thomas Bryant and 6’7 Anthony Gill. While Porzingis may be tired, we’ve seen the unicorn settle for lazy deep threes in games when he was only planning on playing 25 minutes. I doubt he wants to down and fight with Stewart down in the paint, someone who is known for making up for their lack of size with toughness.

Rui Hachimura o1.5 3PM (+110) (Bet $100 to Win $110)

*Odds available at DraftKings at time of publishing*

I still remember the days when we were able to play this at o0.5, but times have changed and there is still some value here. While Rui has missed this in his last two games, he should also benefit hugely from the lack of Kuzma and Gafford tonight. Rui has one full game against the Pistons where he went 3-3 from beyond the arc. In his other matchup against the Pistons, he went 1-3 from three but got injured in the first half only playing 10 minutes. I believe the Pistons are gonna prioritize protecting the paint, and Rui should get plenty of opportunities to take advantage of that, especially after playing only 24 minutes last night.
