NBA player props expert John Hyslop is here with his top player prop pick for Thursday night's NBA action and it comes from the Philadelphia 76ers and Detroit Pistons matchup with his eyes set on Isaiah Stewart.

Detroit Pistons vs. Philadelphia 76ers Player Prop Bet Prediction: Can Isaiah Stewart Connect From Deep?

It's a big night people. Maybe the biggest. The bowling playoffs start tonight and my team, The Shockers, are sitting in the top seed. Does it feel good? Of course it does. The only thing between us and the second round is the eighth-seeded Booze Bags. Clearly, we'll need something to gamble on while this whole thing is going down. Action, while you're in action, is the best kind of action. Everyone knows that. Luckily for us, there is a five-game NBA slate just staring back at us when we look at our score apps. It's beautiful. You should check it out now. It's so beautiful, that I just want to attack the very first game on the slate. Get the juices flowing early like any real gambler. What's even better is, I know exactly how to do it.

Isaiah Stewart Over .5 Made Threes (+115) (Bet $115 to Win $115)

*Odds Available at DraftKings at Time of Publishing*

This one can only be found at DraftKings or BetMGM. That's it. FanDuel, Barstool, and PointsBet have all gone the run-and-hide route. It's sickening but I understand why they did it. Nobody likes to get beaten like a drum. Especially sportsbooks.

This is pretty much a heat check for both me and Beef Stew. After winning my last four NBA player props (NBD), I obviously need something to fire on. On Beef Stew's side, he's hit four threes in his last two games. We're both on fire so we should probably team up. It just makes sense.

Now anyone with at least one eye and a functioning brain knows we don't just chase makes in this category. We want volume. That's the good stuff. Can't make a shot you don't shoot. That's just how shots work. And let me tell you, Beef Stew is shooting. By my count, the guy has only taken 10 threes since the All-Star break and six of them have come in the last two games. What's up haters?

Anyone that has played at least one pick-up game of basketball in their lives can see what's going on here. It's the end of the night and now everybody is jacking up threes. Even the fat guys that played down low all night (no offense fat guys). The thing is, Beef Stew isn't a fat guy. On top of that, when he shoots a three, it doesn't even look that bad. Like he almost should have been shooting threes the whole time. Powerful stuff.

Tonight the Pistons might get waxed but I don't know. They've been covering every night. In fact, I don't even remember that last time they didn't cover as a dog. The Philadelphia 76ers are a tough task but on the season, no team in the NBA allows more three-pointers made per game to the center position. Stewart has tried one in both games against the 76ers this season so there's that too. I don't think this is that crazy. He just has to make one three-pointer.
