San Antonio Spurs vs. Denver Nuggets Same-Game Parlay: SI Sportsbook Bet Builder for Enticing Payouts

With three games left in the regular season, it is never too early to think about what teams still have something left to play for and what teams are just playing out the string. Those who are still jockeying for playoff positioning are likely to play their starters heavy minutes, while those who have little to play for are more apt to rest starters and see what they can get out of their bench.

With these scenarios in mind, we used SI Sportsbook’s Bet Builder to construct a three-leg same-game parlay for tonight’s Spurs-Nuggets game.

Denver Nuggets vs. San Antonio Spurs Same-Game Parlay Breakdown

Leg 1: Nuggets ML

From a pure motivation standpoint, the Nuggets and Spurs are seemingly in very similar positions despite occupying different spots in the standings. Denver is within striking distance of the No. 4 seed and homecourt advantage in the first round of the playoffs, as they are two games back of Dallas with three games to play. Meanwhile, the Spurs are two games ahead of the Lakers for the No. 10 seed (the last spot for the play-in tournament) with four games to play. However, that lead feels more like three games as San Antonio has the head-to-head tiebreaker.

Given the scenarios at hand, we feel more comfortable with Denver’s moneyline odds than laying the 7.5 points on the point spread, and we can still build a parlay with a decent payout around it. Considering Denver is 1-7 ATS in its last eight home games, back them to win outright.

Leg 2: Nikola Jokic 40+ Points/Rebounds/Assists

SI Sportsbook’s Bet Builder offers Jokic’s combined points, rebounds, and assists in categories of 40+, 50+, and 60+. Though it results in a smaller payout, backing him to reach 40 or more in these three categories has been nearly automatic of late, as he has accrued such statistics in 16 of his last 17 games. In fact, he has almost surpassed this mark on points alone of late, scoring at least 25 points in four of his previous five games.

Jokic had a historic March where he finished in the top ten in points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks and has shown no signs of slowing down in April. As long as the Nuggets still have something to play for, Jokic will be logging heavy minutes and making the most of them.

Leg 3: UNDER 234.5 points

The Nuggets have been scorching the nets of late, scoring at least 125 points in five of their last seven games. However, their games against San Antonio have tended to be lower-scoring, as the under has cashed in seven of their last ten meetings in Denver. In addition, the under is 7-1 in San Antonio’s last eight games following a win, including cashing in six of their last seven games following a double-digit win (won their previous game by 21 points). Dejounte Murray has already been ruled out of tonight’s game, limiting San Antonio’s offensive ceiling.
