NBA Parlay Breakdown
The Dallas Mavericks have won 5 of their last 7 games over the last 2 weeks, ranking 5th in offense but 21st in defense. The Mavericks' slide on the defensive end of the ball has been rather shocking, as earlier in the season, their identity came on that side of the floor. Still, Dallas holds a winning record over the last 2 weeks and will be confident of success as they head into tonight's game against the Detroit Pistons. Marvin Bagley, Jerami Grant, Cory Joseph, Kelly Olynyk, Hamidou Diallo, and Rodney McGruder are all rule out for the Eastern Conference strugglers tonight, which only serves to make the Mavericks' job easier. Sure, the Pistons have been a much-improved team over the last 2 weeks, winning 4 of their 7 games and holding the 4th ranked defense in the league's 14-day rolling rankings. But, with so many players missing from their rotation, I can't back Detroit to win tonight's game, which is why I'm rolling with the Mavericks on the money line.
The Brooklyn Nets are on the second night of a back-to-back, and face a New York Knicks team that's won 5 of their last 7 and hover just outside of the league's top-10 for offense and defense in the rolling rankings. Still, Brooklyn is trying to climb up the rankings to avoid a potential 2 play-in games. Over the last 2 weeks, the Nets have lost 4 of their 7 games, but have managed to improve their defense so that it resides in the rolling top-10. Still, the Knicks are missing 7 rotation members tonight, including Julius Randles and a string of guards, so coming against Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving couldn't have come at a worse time for the Eastern Conference strugglers. I like the Nets for tonight's game - they're motivated, talented, and are making up for lost time after a string of issues has stopped them from being at full strength for most of the year. This game has money line written all over it.
Bet $10, Win $200 if EITHER TEAM in Nets vs Knicks hits a 3-Pointer
The final game in this three-team parlay is between the Phoenix Suns and the Los Angeles Clippers. Sure, the Clippers have been performing well since Paul George's return, winning 3 of their last 5 games and holding the best defense in the NBA over the last two weeks. The Suns are the best team in the NBA, though, and tonight, with the Clippers on their hit-list, we're probably going to see Los Angeles' 20th ranked defense struggle to contain the NBA'S most efficient assassins. The Suns are yet to release their injury report, but as they played yesterday, we already have a feel for their rotations. At this point, the only hope the Clippers can have is if the Suns show signs of tired legs down the stretch - if not, I can't envision anything other than a Phoenix win. Perhaps I'm giving Monty Williams guys too much credit, that's a perfectly reasonable assumption, but I think Phoenix is excellently constructed and perfectly balanced, which is why the money line is my final choice to end this three-team parlay.

The Celtics might not have Robert Williams for their final few games, but that hasn't stopped their defense from remaining at an elite level, and tonight, the Chicago Bulls are tasked with trying to solve what most teams are finding is a never-ending puzzle. It doesn't help the Bulls that Jayson Tatum is playing at a borderline MVP level, nor that Jaylen Brown has become borderline unstoppable in an off-ball scoring role. Still, Chicago, who has lost 4 of their last 7 and is 22nd in both offense and defense over the last two weeks, will need to try and find a way to register a win tonight, and their best bet is by playing through Nikola Vucevic on the perimeter. The Bulls have yet to release their injury report but considering where they're positioned in the conference standings, they aren't really playing for much over these next few games, so there might be some potential for load management. Regardless of what unit Chicago rolls out tonight, I have the Celtics winning by a comfortable margin - the Bulls have been poor for the last few months, and I don't see that changing tonight. As such, I'm rolling with a +14 spread for Chicago tonight.

Both the Washington Wizards and the Atlanta Hawks are poor defensive teams, but only one of those rosters is struggling to score the ball, which makes this game easier to predict. Over the last two weeks, the Wizards have won 5 of their 8 games, but rank 17th in offensive efficiency, and that's where their problems are going to start. The Hawks are a top-3 offense on the season and like to hurt teams early and often - specifically from the three-point line. Without Bradley Beal, the Wizards are a blunt instrument, and despite Kristaps Porzingis' efforts, won't be much of a threat tonight. Neither team has released their injury reports at the time of writing, but the Hawks are battling for a post-season place, even if that means coming through the play-in tournament, while the Wizards' fate is all but confirmed. With the motivation of a post-season place, I expect the Hawks to put on a show tonight, which is why I'm backing them on the money line.
