Memphis Grizzlies vs. Denver Nuggets Same-Game Parlay: SI Sportsbook Bet Builder for Enticing Payouts

The Memphis Grizzlies and Denver Nuggets have just five regular-season games left between them, and each of their playoff fates looks pretty well established at this point. The Grizzlies are locked into the No. 2 seed in the West, while the Nuggets need just one more win or a Timberwolves loss to avoid dropping to the No. 7 seed and playing in the play-in tournament. Additionally, the Nuggets can climb as high as the No. 5 seed as they trail the Utah Jazz by just one game.

With these scenarios in mind, we used SI Sportsbook’s Bet Builder to construct a three-leg same-game parlay for tonight’s Grizzlies-Nuggets game.

Memphis Grizzlies vs Denver Nuggets Same-Game Parlay Breakdown

Leg 1: UNDER 232.5

The Grizzlies and Nuggets have had many low-scoring head-to-head matchups of late. The under has cashed in five of the last seven meetings between these teams, and the under is 4-1 in Memphis’ last five games playing on one day’s rest. With their playoff positioning firm, the Grizzlies are likely to limit the minutes their starters play and give extended minutes to their bench. In addition, the Nuggets are coming off their lowest-scoring game (97 points against the Spurs) since January 11th, so they do not enter tonight with the best offensive momentum either.

Leg 2: Team Points- Grizzlies UNDER 113.5

Falling in line with our logic for the under for the full-game total, we also do not expect the Grizzlies to scorch the nets. Memphis’ scoring potential will always be limited as long as Ja Morant remains out, and it seems the team is being cautious with him after he tweaked his knee a couple of weeks ago. Morant has not played since March 18th, and though the Grizzlies are 7-1 in his absence, we do not expect them to keep up the same scoring punch as they have had throughout this streak. Memphis has averaged 110.5 points in regulation in their last two road games, and given that they are coming off an overtime loss at Utah in their previous game, they may be even more likely to rest starters on a quick turnaround.

Leg 3: Nuggets ML

This last leg of the parlay gives us pause, considering the Nuggets have lost three of their previous four home games. In addition, they have failed to cover the spread in each of their last four games as home favorites. However, Denver is 4-1 ATS in their previous five games following a loss of more than ten points. We expect the Nuggets to play with urgency to avoid the possibility of playing in the play-in tournament hanging over their heads heading into the regular-season finale.
