Tonight's NBA Play-In Game Prop Picks: Can Bogdan Bogdanovic and Herbert Jones Hit?
Herbert Jones 1+ 3PM/STL (-112) (Bet $112 to win $100)
*Odds available at DraftKings at time of publishing*
Herbert Jones 3PM is sneakily one of my favorite props to target on this slate. Jones has played 30+ minutes vs the Pelicans twice this season hitting this number in both games. If there's one thing we’ve noticed from playoff basketball, it's that these coaches are gonna make life as difficult as possible for opposing star players. With defenses hyper-focused on guys like CJ McCollum, Brandon Ingram, and Jonas Valanciunas, Jones should have plenty of open looks. We saw this plenty with guys like Bruce Brown, Kessler Edwards, Nicholas Batum, and Jaden McDaniels in yesterday's play-in games.
As for steals, Jones is averaging 1.7 on the season and 1.8 vs the Spurs this year. The Spurs are gonna wanna push the pace and live in transition, and if the Pelicans are able to slow them down, we could see plenty of turnovers in the half-court offense. While only a rookie, Jones has been a key cog in the Pelicans' defensive machine this year, I’m expecting 35+ minutes tonight.

Bogdan Bogdanovic 3+ 3PM/Hawks ML (+120) (Bet $100 to win $120)
*Odds available at DraftKings at time of publishing*
Bogdan is someone who I was hoping I could get some sneaky lines on, but the books were clearly ready, opening points at 17 and 3PM at 3.5. He's played 25+ minutes against the Hornets twice this season, going 8-16 & 2-8 from three in those games, taking 22 and 16 shots. I will also be personally sprinkling on 20+ & 25+ points for Bogdan.
Bet $10, Win $200 if EITHER TEAM in Hawks vs Hornets hits a 3-Pointer
The Hornets are gonna do their best to limit Trae Young as a scorer, and I’m expecting Bogdanovic to step up here. Both of these teams are young, but I’m confident the Hawks get the job done. Trae Young is the best player in this game, and his ability to be one of the best facilitators & scorers in the league is gonna prove a bit too hard to handle for the Hornets.
