The Dallas Mavericks vs. the Utah Jazz will occur from Salt Lake City on Thursday night. This is game six of this seven-game series, with the Mavericks holding a 3-2 lead. The Mavericks have been led in this series by their guard combo of Jalen Brunson and Luka Doncic. The Mavericks missed Doncic in the first three games of the series but were still able to get a 2-1 series lead, including winning one in Utah.

The Jazz may feel lucky just to be in a game six after almost losing a game four on Saturday afternoon. The Jazz trailed by three points in the final minutes but closed on a run that evened the series at two. The series flipped to Dallas for game five, and it was an absolute beat down by Luka and the Mavs. It was one of the largest wins in Maverick's playoff history and one of the worst losses in Utah Jazz's playoff history.

The Jazz will need to win this game tonight to continue this series, and they will look to number forty-five in the form of Donavan Mitchell. Mitchell is one of the best scorers in the playoffs averaging north of thirty points in the playoffs in his young career. The Jazz will need some of their role players to step up tonight. Bogdan Bogdanovic, Mike Conley, and Jordan Clarkson are some names the Jazz desperately need to step up for this game tonight. The line for this game is -1 in favor of the Jazz.

I am backing the Jazz here at home tonight and fading another public dog. I believe the Jazz are being tremendously undervalued for this game tonight due to that brutal game five performance. This is still a team that has a lot of guys on this roster more than capable of stepping up, and they should be more hungry than ever tonight. I expect a massive game out of Donovan Mitchell, which should take the pressure off their role players and allow them to perform.

Luka Doncic is still on somewhat of a limit and not at full strength for this series. The hometown crowd should really play a factor here and inject some energy into this Jazz team. The first twelve minutes of this game will be key as I believe it’s pivotal for the Jazz to get out to a hot start and play with momentum early.

Utah was one of the best home teams in the NBA, playing to the tune of a 29-12 regular-season record, which was one of the best in the NBA. Dallas was a much better home team and much more beatable away from Dallas. Give me the home team tonight, and for this series to go to seven!
