The Milwaukee Bucks made quick work of the Chicago Bulls in their opening series, and they did so without Kris Middleton for a portion of it.  Middleton seems likely to miss the entire series.  The sledding gets tougher for the Bucks now taking on a Boston Celtics team who had little trouble with the Nets in their opening series.

Whenever Middleton has missed time this year, certain players have had to step into a larger role.  No one on the Bucks has done that better this year than Grayson Allen (in terms of scoring).  Allen has been hot shooting the ball of late with Middleton out.

Allen averages 17.2 ppg in 16 games without Middleton, compared to 11.2 ppg in games where Middleton played.  Allen’s line is currently at 10.5 pts, a number he has hit in 13 of the 16 games without Middleton.  The two teams played earlier this year without Middleton -- Allen scored 21 points with 5 threes in that one.  Simply put, I think this number is too low with Jrue Holiday and Giannis set to take up the bulk of the attention from BOS.
