Boston Celtics vs Milwaukee Bucks Prediction

The Milluwake Bucks vs. the Boston Celtics will take place on Tuesday night in bean town. The Bucks are coming off a dominant performance in the game, handing the Celtics their first loss of the post-season. The Celtics will look to bounce back tonight at home, knowing how crucial this game is. Giannis Antekumpo led the way in game one for the Bucks, while Jrue Holiday was outstanding on both ends of the floor. Khris Middleton will miss this entire series, which made the Bucks dogs going into the series.

I did pick the Bucks to win the series due to the value but stealing two games in Boston would be massive for this team. The Celtics stars did not show up in game one, and it seemed like the Bucks just played with more energy overall. Jayson Tatum was just 6/18 from the floor, scoring twenty-one points, while Jaylen Brown was 4-13 from the floor, scoring just twelve points. Marcus Smart was cold all game as well, shooting just 1-6 from three and only adding ten points. They played a sloppy game, especially in the second quarter, turning the basketball over often. This could have been a little bit of a letdown game after they breezed by the Nets in round one. They just did not seem super focused in game one. Maybe that is also having to do with the fact that Middleton was out. They could have overlooked this Bucks team, but they will not be moving forward. This turns into a must-win game for the Celtics tonight in Boston. It would be tough to come back from 2-0 going into the defending champs' home court.

I am backing Boston on the spread tonight. This Celtics team has too much on the line to lay another egg in front of their home crowd. They could not have possibly played worse in game one, and so this is just the perfect get-me-right spot. The Bucks have done their job already; they stole one game in a tough environment. The more desperate team tonight will be the Celtics, no doubt about it. Jayson Tatum should bounce back with a nice game, and I expect Jaylen Brown to be ultra-aggressive early to insert himself into this game after a lackluster performance on Sunday. The Celtics should be encouraged by the job they did on Giannis from a shooting point of view. He was just 9-25 in the game, so the defensive plan for Boston worked on him in-game. They will just need their offense to be much better tonight, and I believe they will be. Let’s stay hot on the hardwood!
