Memphis Grizzlies vs Golden State Warriors Prediction

The Golden State Warriors vs. the Memphis Grizzlies will be the matchup this Tuesday night as the two teams will battle in Memphis, Tennessee. The first game of this series was one of the best games of the playoffs so far. The Warriors squeaked out a one-point road win led by Steph Curry and a clutch three-pointer by Klay Thompson with less than a minute to play in the game.

The Grizzlies have it everything they had down the stretch, including a ten-point comeback in the fourth waiter to take the lead. Ja Morant was great from start to finish, but he could not win the game on a last-minute layup that was deflected by Klay Thompson. The Warriors won on the money line, but the Grizzlies were awarded the cover on the spread after Thompson missed two free throws late. It was a wild game with a wild finish, and we should get something similar to that tonight.

The Grizzlies should be fairly comfortable playing down 0-1 as they came roaring back in the last series against the T-Wolves to win the series in six games. The issue for Memphis is this Warriors team is much better than that Minnesota team. Draymond Green was ejected for a hard foul on Brandon Clarke in game one, and he will be back for tonight’s game. Green was very vocal about the foul voicing his opinion saying the only reason he was ejected was due to his reputation. Despite no Green, the Warriors were able to get past the Grizzlies, but they will welcome him back for game two tonight. The Grizzlies enter as a two-point underdog at home.

I am backing the dog tonight in the Grizzlies on the money line. I love the way this team fights back and handles adversity. I said in my last article that I didn’t think the Grizz could come back in the fourth against the Warriors if they were down double digits. While they didn’t close the game, they proved that they could erase double-digit leads quickly. I was very impressed with the poise that this young team played with on Sunday. Tonight’s game is a must-win for the Grizz, and they know that. The Warriors are a better home team, and they probably feel as if their job is done in Memphis. If the Warriors lose this one, they still feel great heading back home. If the Grizz can’t win tonight, they will not feel so hot heading to the Bay Area down 2-0. I am going to put my money on the team that is more hungry tonight, the Grizzlies. I expect big games from Dillon Brooks and Desmond Bane tonight, as well as Morant. Let’s cash another ticket!
