If Game 1 between the Miami Heat and Philadelphia 76ers showed Brian Matthews anything, it's that both teams love to take 3s. He built a volume-filled parlay involving Max Strus, PJ Tucker, and Georges Niang.
ANALYSIS

Miami Heat vs Philadelphia 76ers Same Game Parlay: Targeting Max Strus, PJ Tucker, Georges Niang

Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals series between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Miami Heat showed me that both teams won't shy away from the deep ball, regardless of the outcome. In Game 1, the Heat shot 9-36 (25%) from three and the Sixers went 6-34 (17.6%) from three.

All I see in that wreckage is untapped potential. There are a number of times where I release and play and think “this can’t miss” whether it wins or not. I assure you this is not of those times, but there is a lot of value and volume for three legs at +1473.

Three-point parlays aren’t the safe route, but man can they be fun. We have got to see more of these deep shots connect tonight… right? I’ll take the bait and throw a couple of dollars on a volume-based three-point parlay.

Heat vs. 76ers Picks

I’m targeting three players here.

Max Strus over 2.5 3pm (-168)

Strus connected on his first three of the night, before going 0-6 to close things out. Seven three-point attempts is plenty for me to take Strus here to have at least three tonight.

PJ Tucker over 1.5 3pm (+170)

To me, this is about value. Tucker has been shooting the ball well, and these odds are pretty good for someone who has shown a knack for knocking down the big shots. Lowry is again out for Miami and Tucker has had at two three-pointers in two of his last three games.

Georges Niang 3+ 3pm (+260)

Niang shot 0-7 from deep in game 1, so the volume is there. Niang has converted more than three of his last 7 games without Embiid. He’s a shooter, and shooters shoot their way out of slumps.

I’m going light on this to have some fun with this first game and hope more of these threes are converted. We're talking about Georges Niang, Max Strus, and P.J. Tucker here - so a few dollars should do the trick. Good luck!
