The last time these teams played on Tuesday night, the Suns were trailing at the half but came back in the third. It was a tight game heading to the fourth, just a two-possession game, and then Chris Paul happened. Paul took over with a massive second half showing off his veteran skillset and essentially not missing for a three-minute window. The lead ballooned to twenty soon enough, and Jason Kidd waved the white flag with about four minutes left, pulling all of his starters and key bench pieces.

Devin Booker was also great in the fourth quarter, hitting back-to-back threes late in the game. Dallas will need to take care of business on their home floor against this high-flying Suns team. One guy Dallas can not blame is Luka Doncic, who has been great in both games, but they will need big games from Jalen Brunson and Spencer Diwiide if they want to take down this Suns squad. The spread for tonight’s game is -1 in favor of the Suns.

I am backing the dog tonight in the Dallas Mavericks at home. I know this won’t be a super popular pick, but I love this spot at home for Dallas. We actually have not lost a playoff bet involving the Suns betting on or against them! Dallas has been great this season responding to adversity, and they have been dominant on their home court.

The Mavericks represent a home record of 29-12, which is one of the best marks in all of the NBA. Jalen Brunson will break out tonight for a huge performance in my opinion, and I expect a much more focused effort on defense from the Mavericks, who have been one of the best defenses in the league this season. There is too much value on Dallas tonight, and I am willing to fade the public here! Let’s stay hot on the hardwood!
