This series has been a feisty one that has seen two players ejected in the first two games. Dillon Brooks will miss tonight’s game after being suspended one game for a hard foul that knocked out Warriors guard Garry Payton Jr for the series. Draymond Green was ejected from game one, which started the bad blood in this series after a hard foul on Brandon Clarke.
The bottom line is there is no love between the two teams moving forward in this series. The Warriors are the veteran team who has won championships, while the Grizzlies are the young up-and-coming team looking to win their first championship. The battles have been great between these two teams so far this season, and I expect another great game between the two tonight.
I will be backing the Warriors on the spread here tonight. The absence of Dillon Brooks will play a factor on the defensive end of the floor, and the Warriors are going to have too many favorable matchups on the offensive end for the Grizzlies to keep pace with. I believe we could see a blowout here in game three in favor of the Warriors.
