ANALYSIS

Dallas Mavericks vs. Phoenix Suns Prediction: Will Devin Booker and the Suns Dominate Game 4?

This afternoon, the Phoenix Suns vs. the Dallas Mavericks will take place in Dallas, Texas, for a pivotal game three. The Suns won the first two games of this series with relative ease, but it was the Mavericks who blew the Suns out in game three on their home court. We are 9-0 betting on Suns playoff games this postseason, and we will push that record to 10-0 this afternoon.

Dallas Mavericks vs. Phoenix Suns Game 4 Prediction

The Suns were the best team in the NBA during the regular season, and you can make the case that they are the best overall team in the NBA. Led by a duo of guards in Devin Booker and Chris Paul, this is one of the toughest teams to deal with in all of the NBA.

Monty Williams is perhaps the best coach in all of the NBA, being named coach of the year after leading his team to an outstanding season. Deandre Ayton has really picked up his play this season, especially in the scoring department. The Suns also have one of the best defenders in the NBA in the form of Mikal Bridges. The bottom line is this team doesn’t really have a weakness.

The Maverick's defense was outstanding in game three, forcing Chris Paul into seven turnovers and just twelve points. Luka Doncic was great, but the role players finally stepped up for the Mavs and chipped in. Jalen Brunson struggled in the first two games of the series but was outstanding in game three. Brunson means a lot to this Mavericks team and when he is on this team is tough to beat. The line for tonight’s game is -2 in favor of the Phoenix Suns.

I backed the Mavs the last game after backing the Suns in the first two, and I am turning back to Phoenix tonight. I love betting on this Suns team off a loss, especially in the postseason.

The Mavs played a perfect game on the defensive end in game three, forcing Chris Paul into seven turnovers. I just do not think they will be able to sustain that kind of defense on Paul and this Suns team. I expect Phoenix to be much more focused and committed tonight on the defensive end of the floor.

Game three was a desperation game on the end of the Mavs and a huge reason I backed them. I believe they got their one win of the series and that the Suns take care of business in five games. I want everyone to keep an eye on Deandre Ayton today, who I think will be much more involved in the offensive game plan. Chris Paul will also have a big bounce-back game after his worst performance of the postseason. Let’s stay hot on the hardwood this afternoon!
