Memphis Grizzlies vs. Golden State Warriors Game 5 Prediction

The Golden State Warriors vs. The Memphis Grizzlies will take place from Memphis on Wednesday night in a key game five see the odds for the game here. The Warriors took games three and four on their home court, but that was the least of the Grizzlies' worries. Ja Morant got injured towards the end of game three and will be out for the remainder of this series. That is a massive blow to the Grizzlies squad losing their best player and the heart and soul of this team.

The Grizzlies gave the Warriors everything they could handle in game four, but a late run by this veteran Warriors team was too much for the Grizzlies. Steph Curry came to life late, and we know how that goes for opposing teams. Curry put the team on his back down the stretch, and the Warriors clamped up on the defensive end.

The Warriors now know that they can close this series out tonight in Memphis and get some much-needed rest. Desmond Bane and Dillon Brooks struggled to find their shot in game four. It was one of the worst shooting halves you will see in a playoff game combined in game one in the first half.

The Warriors came off a game they shot north of sixty percent and could not hit the ocean with a ball in the first half. Despite that cold shooting, the Warriors showed how tough they are this time of year. The Warriors enter play tonight as a four-point road favorite.

I am backing the Warriors tonight at the -4 line. I typically do not bet with the public on nights like tonight, but I think this line actually suggests Golden State.

The Grizzlies are 20-6 without Ja, but the playoffs are a whole different animal. I believe this Grizzlies team feels deflated at this point, knowing Morant is out for the series. The Warriors have been a good road team in the playoffs, and they have shown that in this series. This is a veteran team, so a road game for them does not pose much of a threat.

The Grizzlies just do not have the scoring to keep up with the Warriors in the absence of Ja. Desmond Bane would be the guy they could count on to step up scoring, but Bane is playing with a significant back injury. I think this team is simply out of steam. It has been a great season for Memphis, and this team will be back, but their season ends tonight.
