Miami Heat vs. Boston Celtics Game 1: The "Why Not?" +1004 Same Game Parlay

Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat tips off tonight in what should be a tight series. What could make it a little more exciting you ask? The answer is rather obvious - a parlay of course. It just so happens I have a five-leg, +1004 parlay to get the juices going!

Let’s kick this thing off and walk through each leg of this Miami Heat vs. Boston Celtics Same-Game Parlay.

Miami Heat vs. Boston Celtics Game 1 Same-Game Parlay: 5-Leg SGP (+1004) (Bet $100 to Win $1004)

Jaylen Brown Over 2.5 3pm (-120)

Jaylen Brown hasn’t been the world’s most consistent player lately, but he has shot the ball well vs. the Miami Heat this year. In three games against the Heat, Brown is averaging 24.7 ppg, 6.3 RPG, and 3.3 APG. Brown has gone over 2.5 3pm in all three games, including games of 3, 3, and 5. The Heat also happen to fall in the bottom ten in the NBA in three’s given up to Brown’s position, so I think let’s hope he stays hot tonight.

Jayson Tatum Under 28.5 alt pts (-180)

While Jaylen Brown has excelled against the Heat this year, Tatum has struggled. Tatum is averaging 17.7 ppg, 8.3 rpg, and 4.3 apg in three games vs. the Heat this year – scoring 10, 20, and 23 points in those games. With Miami’s defensive approach, I don’t expect Tatum to clear this number in Miami tonight.

Max Strus Over 2.5 3pm (-160)

Max Strus has been playing very well recently, and now he gets extra motivation in the form of the Boston Celtics, who waived Max Strus and chose Javonte Green with the final roster spot back in 2019. Strus has played his former Celtic team twice this year, scoring 27 pts on 1/31 and 14 on 3/30. In those two games, Strus hit 9 and 4 three-pointers. Strus has also gone over 2.5 3pm in 8 of his last 10 games.

Max Strus Over 3.5 rebounds (-150)

I mentioned that Strus is shooting the ball well, but he has also answered the call of late rebounding the basketball. Strus recorded double-doubles in the last two games against the Philadelphia 76ers and recorded 7 rebounds in a game against the Celtics in March. This isn’t just a two-game sample size either, as Strus has now gone over 3.5 rebounds in 7 of his last 8 games.

Bam Adebayo Over 2.5 assists (-205)

Look at Bam Adebayo’s body of work vs. the Celtics, and you can see he has been effective as a facilitator. In three games vs. the Celtics this year, Adebayo has had games of 4, 5, and 8 assists. I like Bam to help find a few of his teammates tonight and clear this number with Robert Williams and Horford opposite him.
