The NBA playoffs continue Sunday night with the third game of the Western Conference Finals. The series is controlled by the Warriors after winning Games 1 and 2. Now they travel to the American Airlines Center to battle Luka Doncic and the Mavericks and attempt to take a commanding 3-0 series lead. The Mavericks and Luka Doncic find themselves down 2-0 to the Warriors heading into tonight but this isn't unfamiliar territory. They overcame a 2-0 deficit in the Conference Semifinals against the defending Western Conference Champion, Phoenix Suns. In Game 2 they had a commanding 19-point lead in the first half but gave that away and lost the game 126-117 as the defense faltered allowing the Warriors to shoot 61% in the second half. Steph Curry scored 32 points and the surprise was Center, Kevon Looney tallied up a career-high 21 points and 12 rebounds. Luka Doncic scored 42 points of his own but it wasn't enough in Game 2. When Luka Doncic and the Mavericks cooled off in the second half from three-point territory the game was lost. The Mavs have also gone small asCenter, Dwight Powell played just 8 minutes in Game 2.
