This is starting to become a system play with Steph Curry any time he plays the Mavericks. The line moved up from the 10.5 R+A the books gave us in Game 1 and Game 2 to 11.5 R+A for Game 3. That didn’t stop Curry from clearing the line again.
Steph has been crashing the glass against the Mavericks, grabbing 5 rebounds in all four games this series, which included two games where Curry pulled in 12 rebounds and 8 rebounds. On the nights where he grabbed five rebounds, his assist totals were up. In Game 1, Curry had 9 assists and in Game 5 he had 11 assists. The rebounds + assists provide us a little coverage in case one of the two statistical categories isn’t as strong as the other.
Curry has cleared 11.5 R+A in all seven games against the Mavericks this year. His R+A numbers against the Warriors this season - 14/16/14/14/16/13/16. We need twelve from Steph tonight.
I like Curry in this spot as the Warriors try to close the series out tonight in Dallas.
