Jalen Brunson Over 7.5 rebounds + assists (R+A) (-120) (Bet $120 to Win $100)
We get Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals tonight between the Golden State Warriors and Dallas Mavericks. The Mavericks are trying to fend off elimination once again, but this time, they are doing so at Chase Center in Northern California.
As soon as the lines were released for tonight’s game, I went to our trusted Steph Curry R+A line. That line is not nearly as appetizing as it was to start the series. Curry’s R+A opened the series at 10.5, before moving to 11.5 last game, and sitting at 12.5 for tonight’s Game 5.
Another player with a R+A line I like is Jalen Brunson, which is currently sitting at 7.5. Brunson is a plus rebounder for his size and has been finding his teammates in good spots of late. Brunson has gone over 7.5 R+A in every game this series (8/12/8/10 R+A) – and 8 of his last 9 games.
Diving a little further into the numbers, Brunson finished the night with 13 potential assists, which only trailed Luka Doncic, who finished with 14 potential assists. Brunson finished the night with 5 assists, so there were a lot of opportunities left out there on missed shots.
Brunson also had an impressive 10 rebound chances, finishing the night with 5 rebounds in Game 4. Brunson is consistent, going over 4.5 rebounds in 4 of his last 5 games, and racking up 4 rebounds in 9 of his last 10 games (Avg. 4.1 RPG on the season).
Look for Brunson to continue to facilitate and crash the glass, two areas where he has been very consistent.
