Warriors vs Celtics NBA Finals Game 1 Same Game Parlays: Ride Steph Curry
The Golden State Warriors are in their sixth NBA Finals during the Steve Kerr era. And, the franchise's dominance is largely due to the greatness of Stephen Curry. Steph might be 34 years old, but he's still carrying Golden State's offense on a nightly basis.
The superstar guard has averaged 25.9 points and 6.2 assists per game this postseason, where the Warriors lost only four games on their path to the Finals. The Celtics may be their most difficult test yet, but it seems unlikely that Coach Kerr drastically changes up his rotation. This should give us some awesome value on the board tonight, where we're riding with the greatest shooter of all time. Let's dive into the odds for Game 1 of the NBA Finals.

*Odds Available at DraftKings at Time of Publishing*
Leg 1: Stephen Curry 2+ Assists - 1st Quarter
Leg 2: Stephen Curry 4+ Assists
The Golden State Warriors depend on Stephen Curry to start strong every single game. Since returning from a late-season ankle injury, he's gotten back to his full workload. And, when Steph is a full go, Steve Kerr keeps him on the floor for the entire first quarter.
This means we just need Steph to dish out a pair of assists in 12 full minutes of action, a task that hasn't been much of a challenge for him lately. Curry has multiple assists in the opening quarter in 10 of his last 12 games, averaging 2.4 Q1 assists during this stretch.
And, if we look at a full sample of games where the Western Conference Finals MVP played the whole first quarter (or most of the first quarter) this season, our chances look even better. Curry has played at least 10 Q1 minutes in 33 games this season. He had 2+ assists in 24 of them, good for a 73% hit rate on this prop.
Additionally, Curry cashed this play in each of his five games against the Mavericks last series, even managing to total 5 Q1 assists in Golden State's Game 5 win. And, if he finishes the opening period with 2+ assists, finishing the game with at least 4 shouldn't be an issue. He has 4+ assists in 16/16 playoff games and 50/55 games when seeing 34+ minutes this season.
Golden State Warriors vs. Boston Celtics Game 1 Same Game Parlay (+300) (Bet $100 to win $300)
*Odds Available at DraftKings at Time of Publishing*
Leg 1: Stephen Curry 2+ Assists - 1st Quarter
Leg 2: Stephen Curry 2+ Rebounds - 1st Quarter
We already have Curry to start strong in the assist column. Now, let's have some fun and add in some rebounds for him, too. We've already established Steph dishing out 2+ Q1 assists in 10 of his last 12 games. But, I didn't even mention that he's actually averaging more first-quarter rebounds than assists during this stretch.
The Davidson product is posting 2.4 APG and 2.7 RPG in the opening period over his last 12 contests. And, most importantly, he's cashed this Same Game Parlay in 8 of his last 12 games. With DraftKings offering us a 3-to-1 payout, we'd be insane not to put these two together.
Again, the key here is Steph playing the whole opening quarter. He averages 2.2 AST and 1.8 REB per 12 minutes this season, and he's put up 2.0 AST and 1.9 REB per 12 minutes over his last five playoff runs (88 games).
Boston will throw plenty of different looks at Steph with the hope of containing him in Game 1, so look for Curry to set up his teammates early on in this one.
