We're going over to FanDuel for this one but honestly, we can play this thing anywhere. The reason I like FanDuel is that they'll let us ladder and if there is ever a bet to ladder, it's this one. We're talking 25+ (+250) and even 30+ (+750). It's all in play and it's all deadly. The Detroit Pistons are an absolute mess at the moment. They're missing Cade Cunningham and it's becoming an issue. They've lost seven of their last nine games but if we're being honest, they're not getting smoked. At least not every night. I know close(ish) losses don't mean much to the teams themselves but to us bettors, they mean a lot. Especially the prop people that need our players playing the fourth quarters. So shoutout to the Pistons for at least keeping things interesting.
The only guy the Pistons have that tends to stay on the floor for 30+ minutes is Bojan Bogdanovic. The rest of the guys seem to be in and out. Almost like the Pistons are trying to see what they have. But not Bojan, he stays in. And why not? Over his last nine games that he's played more than 30 minutes, he's scored at least 20 points in every game except one. He scored 19 that night and it was in Phoenix back when they were good. I respect him for that game.
Tonight Bojan and the Pistons will be in Charlotte taking on the Hornets. We shouldn't have to worry about a blowout since the Hornets are usually the ones getting blown out. Instead, we could be looking at a bad team shootout. That's because, over the last three games, no team in the NBA has been worse in defensive efficiency than the Hornets. In their defense, they've been playing good teams but still. It seems like every night, the guy on the other team taking the most shots is dropping 30+. That guy tonight should be Bojan and we only need him to get 20. Feels right.
